Dynamic Physical Therapy

Dr. Jason Mettlach

PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

I grew up in Wisconsin and completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin in 2019. I worked as a personal trainer from 2018–2020 before moving to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah for my Doctor of Physical Therapy, which I completed in 2023. Since graduation, I have worked in outpatient orthopedics in Park City, Utah.

I focus on athletic development, return to sport and recreational activity, manual therapy, and exercise prescription. My top priority is helping people safely and efficiently return to the things that matter most to them. I especially enjoy treating ACL repairs, low back pain, knee pain, tendinopathy, and rotator cuff injuries.

Experience:

Completed an 18-month orthopedic clinical specialist residency following my doctoral degree in physical therapy. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide array of recreational, high school, semi-professional, and fully professional athletes.

Core Values:

Treat others how you would like to be treated, show empathy, always give your best effort, have fun, and don’t lose sight of the good things in life.

Favorite Quote:

“Trust the process.”

I focus on athletic development, return to sport and recreational activity, manual therapy, and exercise prescription, with a primary goal of helping patients get back to the things that matter most to them in a safe and efficient manner. I especially enjoy treating ACL repairs, low back pain, knee pain, tendinopathy, and rotator cuff tears or repairs.

Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, mountain biking, trail running, camping, watching college football, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
