Dr. Jada Johnson Flamang

Physical therapist and certified athletic trainer. She treats movement itself as the tool that gets you back to your sport.

Movement is the treatment, not just the goal.

Jada is a Salt Lake City native. She earned her Athletic Training degree at the University of Utah, then went to Missouri State University for her Doctor of Physical Therapy. The athletic training came first, and it still shapes how she works.

As an undergraduate she worked with the University of Utah football team, and she has worked with a wide variety of sports teams since. Her approach rests on one idea: movement is a powerful tool for healing and for getting your confidence back. She sets out to support a positive healing environment and to encourage an active life outside the clinic. In her words, progress is progress, no matter how big or small.

Listen First

Your first visit runs about an hour and starts with the story, not the table. What you did, when it changed, and what you have stopped doing since.

Read the Movement

Hands-on assessment plus movement testing, with an athletic trainer's eye for how a body actually loads. The place that hurts is often not the place that failed.

Build Confidence Back

Movement is the tool she uses to reduce the pain and rebuild the trust in the knee, the shoulder, or the back. Jada is in the room for the whole appointment. No aides, no handoff.
