Jennifer Harvey

I come from a military family- so I grew up everywhere! My dad retired here and Slidell is where I started a career and family. It has helped me as an adult to be very adaptable to most situations.

I graduated from Delgado Community College in 2005 with an Associate of Applied Science thru the Physical Therapy Assistant program- I had previously worked as a technician 5 years before that! I have enjoyed many colleagues throughout the years, and have worked in many different settings that I have learned and grown from.

I wish I had a magic wand to fix everyone’s pain- I haven’t found that continuing ed class yet.

I provide hands-on patient care, therapeutic exercise instruction, and support throughout the rehabilitation process to help patients reach their functional goals.

I enjoy working with the older adult population, helping maintain independence and confidence with activities.

Friends (definitely my comfort show), Hunting Wives, and I enjoy watching almost any documentary— I am a nosey gal!

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my adult children, I love to cook, and I have recently began traveling and enjoying the peace of being out in nature- away from technology!
